Chickenhall Lane Street Sign

Local campaigners Simon Payne and Lisa Crosher were in attendance at Eastleigh Local Area Committee this week to speak against the Hampshire County Council proposal to allow a waste sorting centre in Chickenhall Lane.

The data used to support the proposal is out of date and the amount of development permitted by the Liberal Democrats in recent years means the traffic movements are grossly underestimated.

The traffic problems around the Lidl roundabout are at breaking point and can't handle the additional lorries.
